Katherine Echo Kim, D.Ac., L.Ac., ADS is a doctor of acupuncture and seasoned integrative medicine subject matter expert with 25 years of clinical acupuncture experience. Dr. Kim began her career as an AcuDetox Specialist at St. Vincent's Integrative Stress Management Clinic in NYC immediately after 9/11. For the past two decades, she has owned and operated a private practice and has served as an acupuncturist-consultant to several hospital systems seeking to develop integrative medicine programs.

Dr. Kim has recently returned from sabbatical and is launching AcuMeditation in Fall 2026. Dr. Kim has three decades of lived experience studying Zen meditation with several prominent international Buddhist teachers, secular Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programs including Yale Stress Center, and overseas monastic training experience. She is certified in several behavioral health modalities including clinical hypnotherapy, EMDR, and is an active advocate of Internal Family Systems and Family Constellations.
